Pesky sunspots? Recurring melasma?

We offer an alternative way to clear it.

“I had pigmentation removal treatments done to remove sun spots on my face that I accumulated in my lifetime and I am so happy with the results. My skin tone is more even now giving me a more youthful look.”

G. CARLA

"I am so pleased with the results, my hands look at least 10 years younger!"

MOYRA

Tech-led. Skin-obsessed. Our skin-safe LightSense laser system is designed to gently and precisely treat the most delicate areas of the face and body.

What we treat

*Due to melasma’s hormonal nature, a patch test is required prior to treatment to assess suitability. Results vary from person to person and changes in lifestyle or supplementary treatment courses may be required in addition to laser removal for best results.

Treatments tailored to your skin type

During your consultation and patch test, our experts will use the Fitzpatrick scale to identify your skin tone and adjust the laser settings for your treatment. We can safely treat pigmentation on Fitzpatrick 1-3 skin types. At the moment, there are limitations on safely treating pigmentation on darker, Fitzpatrick 4-6 skin.

We’re working hard with our physicists to reach a breakthrough across all skin types.

Consult our experts so we can have a look and recommend a treatment course that is right for you and your skin.

Pigmentation removal FAQs

What pigmentation can you treat?
We can treat clients with sunspots and melasma on Fitzpatrick 1-3 skin types. We currently can’t safely treat anyone with Fitzpatrick 4-6 skin types. We’re working hard with our experts to find a solution.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for give us a call at 020 7031 3471 and we’d be happy to give you our expert advice. Unfortunately at this moment we do not treat hyperpigmentation.
How does pigmentation removal work?
The LightSense laser system is able to effectively remove melasma and other skin pigmentations by targeting the excess melanin pigment in the deeper layers of the skin (the dermis), whereas many other courses only focus on treating the melanin in the surface of the skin. It breaks skin pigmentation down into small particles for easy removal by your body’s immune system. The laser is gentle, skin-safe and ultra precise, meaning it’s fine for use even on your face.
Is it safe?
Yes, and your safety is our number one priority. That's why we use the LightSense laser system exclusively at NAAMA. It uses less energy than traditional lasers and doesn’t leave long-lasting skin damage behind. We are UK, CE and FDA approved and have clinical trials for all that certify the safety of our laser for public use.

The LightSense laser system we use is designed specifically with the skin in mind and doesn’t leave long term damage behind unlike most places. Its gentle, precise and accurate technology makes it safe to use even on the most delicate parts of the face.
How often can you treat me?
The LightSense laser is skin-safe, whereas older tech leaves behind painful blisters, scars or burns. Less time healing = quicker removal. With us, you can treat every as fast as every 2-3 weeks, instead of around 6-10 weeks.
Does it hurt?
Pain is subjective, but our patented LightSense laser system is a lot kinder to the skin than older laser technologies. We use low energy in tandem with small, precise laser spots to gently, effectively break down melanin without damaging the skin. We also use cooling agents to numb and soothe the skin before, during and after your treatment.
Can I apply makeup on the area after the treatment?
We ask that you wait 72-hours before applying makeup to the treated area.
