Superior colour removal

At NAAMA Studios, we offer a variety of laser removal treatments tailored to suit your needs.
That includes laser tattoo removal on both black and colour tattoos, as well as permanent makeup removal and cosmetic tattoo removal, including microblading and eyebrow tattoos; lip blushing and lip tattoos; and hairline microblading and scalp micropigmentation removal.
Head to our results pages for impressive tattoo removal before and after pictures. We do not Photoshop anything. What you’ll find are a range of striking before and after pictures that became evident over varying session counts, everything from the super quick to clear, to the slightly more stubborn to remove tattoo inks.
Laser tattoo removal is a commitment to a process that works over the weeks and months after initial laser treatment. There are many ways to improve the chances of a swift, complete tattoo removal, all of which are detailed on our blog.
For straightforward proof of concept, to show how fresh and clear skin will look after treatment with the LightSense™ laser system, we endeavour to share as many before and after images as we can.
We safely treat black ink pigment on all Fitzpatrick skin types at NAAMA, only with the specially-designed LightSense™ laser.
We can only safely treat coloured inks on Fitzpatrick 1-3 skin types. The risk is that if used to treat coloured inks for Fitzpatrick 4-6 skin types, the laser could damage melanocytes, the skin cells that contain the pigment melanin, and cause scarring. To be emphatically clear, we safely use the LightSense™ laser and our experts effectively and responsibly utilise the Fitzpatrick scale (see below). If you would like to know more about how effective the LightSense™ laser is with coloured inks, why not book a consultation and discover exactly what can be achieved?

Your tattoo is as unique as you. That’s why each removal is totally unique to the person and will depend on things like your tattoo location, the ink used, skin type, aftercare, your immune system health and your overall lifestyle.
The average tattoo takes around 8-12 sessions; sometimes less, sometimes more. The best thing to do is to contact us here with a photo of your tattoo and we’ll give you our expert quote.
At NAAMA, we refer to tattoo removal as tattoo clearing. The process is the same, and we opt for different terms to better articulate our gentle treatment process that leaves behind a clean slate for you to either start your tattoo journey again or continue on with clear skin.
In our opinion three crucial ingredients go into making our laser tattoo removal studio the safest it can be. There’s the clean and modern studio space itself, the peerless consultants and their expert training, and most important of all, the special laser we use for tattoo removal in London.
The LightSense™ laser system was developed at Princeton University with skin safety foremost in mind. The undertaking was to improve safety standards for the process of laser tattoo removal.
Does tattoo removal hurt if the laser is specially designed to work on an extremely short pulse width, or if it is designed with a super accurate spot size?
Skin-safe credentials are why we choose to exclusively use LightSense™ on clients’ skin. We’d have it no other way.
Yes, in the name of skin safety, we choose to work with just one pico laser for tattoo removal, using it for all of our permanent makeup removals. The LightSense™ laser system - a type of picosecond laser - was developed over a decade, with origins at prestigious research centre Princeton University.
Picosecond laser tattoo removal is an elegant science, best understood after a coffee with one of our expert consultants or else a few blog articles and a full cafetiere. While the science of how the LightSense™ laser system clears unwanted ink from our skin might seem complex, we are constantly working on resources to explain how the magic happens.
Is there anything the LightSense™ laser system can't do? Well, perhaps give a succinct explanation of how it works. This is laser physics after all.
