These are the top benefits of a semi-permanent tattoo

You might already have read some of the online articles about semi-permanent tattoos gone wrong.

It turns out that, with the exception of our wonderful LightSense™ laser technology for the complete removal of a tattoo, it is a lot harder to create an impermanent tattoo than was previously thought.

Of course, there’s always the good ol’ fashioned rub-on tattoo.

But if you want something a little more sophisticated than that, stick with us.

Before you dive into the world of semi-permanent tattoos

If you want a legit tattoo that fades months after first application, you might be best off investing in good quality black ink from a reputable tattoo artist and then coming to visit us as soon as the tattoo has healed. Or leaving it a few years, if you like how it looks.

It is entirely possible to completely remove a new tattoo with our technology, just months after the first application of ink pigment.

So if you really want an authentic tattoo that is impermanent, NAAMA has you covered.

But because this blog is ostensibly about the benefits of a semi-permanent tattoo, we’ll put the shiny new LightSense™ laser aside for a moment and introduce the exciting world of semi-permanent tattoos.

Semi-permanent tattoos are great, but we'll remove permanent ones too

Tattoo lover Carl immediately regretted a large tattoo he got on his chest. He came to NAAMA to fade his tattoo so that he could get it covered effectively with a new design. He found NAAMA’s treatment “a dream” compared to older, more aggressive technologies.

There are benefits to semi-permanent tattoos

As tattoos have absolutely exploded in popularity, brands have been quick to offer an option for the non-committal among us - those who’d rather have their ink for a matter of months, not years. In steps the semi-permanent tattoo, a bold, new, supposed wonder of tattoo-ink engineering.

In this blog post we’ll consider the benefits of getting this sort of tattoo.

Total artistic freedom

Semi-permanent tattoos offer a wide range of artistic possibilities, allowing individuals to experiment with different designs, styles, and placements on the body. These tattoos are often created with henna, jagua (from the fruit), or other natural dyes.

Being able to change designs regularly, the semi-permanently-tattooed may adapt their body art to work alongside evolving tastes, moods, or even for a special occasion. Wedding tatts anyone?

Semi-permanent tattoos can be a great way to test out a tattoo design that will later become permanent, after you’ve fallen in love with it.

Impermanence

One of the obvious and main advantages of semi-permanent tattoos is their temporary nature. Unlike permanent tattoos that require laser tattoo removal or a cover-up when they no longer fit in with your style, semi-permanent tattoos should naturally fade away over time, allowing for a fresh canvas.

The duration of these tattoos does vary though and so as aforementioned, you might do well to explore how well a quality tattoo from a reputable artist could be removed with the LightSense™ laser.

There have been mixed results so far with how long these semi-permanent tatts last.

Commitment level zero

If you don’t want to commit to a tattoo, but would like to explore how it feels to have ink on your body, semi-permanent tattoos are a great halfway point.

At NAAMA studios we champion the ability to change, grow, and develop in your own skin. Why commit to a piece of art forever when it can be altered or removed in a healthy and safe way?

Safe and non-invasive

A real benefit of a natural, superficial tattoo dye is that it is non-invasive, meaning nothing gets deposited inside your skin’s dermis layer. There is much less risk of any adverse effects and you do not need to worry about the body’s immune response to the foreign ink pigment.

Of course do your research properly, but semi-permanent tattoos can be a safe and above all else fun way of experimenting with tattoo art and a bold, striking look.

There are a number of benefits when getting a semi-permanent tattoo, none however outweigh the many, many plus points of the LightSense™ laser for tattoo removal. To hear us rave about why this is the best route to go for tattoo removal, read here.
