4. Pre-treatment suitability & consent

  • Health information: You must complete our medical questionnaire before Treatment and keep us updated about any changes. We may ask for a GP/doctor’s note where appropriate. If a qualified doctor advises against Treatment, future sessions will be cancelled and any eligible refunds processed (see section 'Refunds').

  • Patch test: A patch test may be required. We’ll tell you if one is needed and when treatment can start thereafter.

  • Contra-indications & safety: We may decline or postpone Treatment if we consider it unsafe (e.g., tanning/sun exposure, certain medicines including antibiotics, pregnancy, active skin conditions).

  • Informed consent: Before your first Treatment we will explain risks and you’ll be asked to sign a consent form.

  • Age: We provide Treatment only to clients 18+. Photo ID may be requested.

  • Under the influence: We may refuse treatment if we suspect alcohol/drug impairment.

5. Preparing for your appointment

  • Shave excess hair over the area (not eyebrows).

  • Arrive with no make-up, deodorant, perfume or oil-based products on the area.

  • Tanned skin (natural or fake) will lead to postponement for your safety.

  • Failure to follow these may reduce treatment time, incur cancellation fees, or require rescheduling.

6. Pricing, payment & packages

  • Booking appointments:

    • No deposit is required to secure an appointment. We will contact you the day before your appointment to confirm you have completed your intake form and to share any preparation or travel instructions.

    • If advance payment for a first Treatment is requested in a specific case and is refused, we may decline to treat.

    • Late cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in us requiring advance payment or card details to secure any future appointments, or redeeming a session from your package, should this happen again.

  • Single payment: Unless you choose one of the instalment plans below, or we agree otherwise in writing, all purchases are paid in one lump sum.

  • Instalment plans: The following payment plans are available on packages, paid by automated recurring card payment:

    • 3 Pack: no instalment plan available, payable in full at purchase.

    • 6 Pack: payable over 3 months by automated monthly card payment.

    • By choosing an instalment plan, you authorise us to take recurring payments from your card on file on the agreed schedule. If a payment fails, we may pause further sessions until the account is brought up to date. Your obligation to complete the instalment plan continues even if you stop attending sessions or do not use all sessions in your package, until the balance is paid in full or the package is cancelled under section 9 (Refunds).

  • PAYG validity: Pre-paid single sessions should be used within 6 months of purchase.

    • Please give ≥24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel to avoid a fee.

    • Missed appointments / late cancellations (< 24 hours’ notice): we apply the following escalating policy:We reserve the right to charge a fee (up to £69) depending on the circumstances, and repeated occurrences may affect our ability to offer you future bookings.

    • Package clients: the same policy applies. Depending on the case, we may deduct a session from your remaining package balance instead of charging a fee.

  • The £69 charge is a genuine pre-estimate of our costs (room time and staff scheduling) and is designed to be proportionate and fair.

  • Illness: If you need to reschedule due to illness and give us ≥24 hours’ notice, we’ll move your appointment once at no charge.

  • Studio cancellations: If we cancel with <12 hours’ notice, your next identical service is free. We will try to contact you as early as possible.
