Microblading removal and eyebrow tattoo removal FAQs

Microblading and eyebrow tattooing are permanent makeup solutions that many people opt for so as to eliminate the need to pencil or apply products daily.

Microblading involves the process of drawing tiny brow hairs over your brows with a needle to give the look of fuller brows. Eventually the results begin to fade over time.

Eyebrow tattooing places the ink pigment deeper into the dermal layer so that it lasts even longer to give the appearance of fuller hair, shape and density. This technique can be done with microblading or on its own.

Did you have an eyebrow tattoo that didn’t turn out as you planned? Is it faded, too intense or not what you envisioned? NAAMA can help reverse the effects.

NAAMA’s laser eyebrow tattoo and microblading removal in London is a safe, simple and effective treatment that helps reverse microblading and eyebrow tattooing without any lasting skin damage.

Our LightSense laser system is the most skin-safe and gentle way to treat delicate areas of the face. Just like our standard normal tattoo removal, our LightSense laser system breaks down the deeply set ink pigments in the skin. Once broken down, the immune system is able to clear the pigment from the body.

Because the LightSense laser system uses a low-energy laser that significantly reduces any chance of blistering, scarring or lasting damage, the skin needs less downtime and can have more frequent treatments. This ultimately leads to a faster removal process.

Thanks to the gentle precision of the LightSense™ laser system we use at NAAMA, we’re able to treat the skin more frequently. That’s because the laser we use is low-energy, which is just as effective but doesn’t leave behind lasting skin damage. As a result, you will have less downtime between your sessions and can come in for treatment more regularly.

We recommend 2-3 weeks between treatments for the best results. Each session is unique, so please speak to our experts for a consultation to suit your goals.

There are thousands of tattoo inks in circulation today. Many are produced by qualified ink manufacturers that reputable tattoo artists and studios will use or mix with other inks to expand their colour palette. Other inks might be homemade, from melting plastics or pen ink. Be sure to tell your NAAMA consultant as much as you can about the tattoo artist or studio, or about the ink related to your tattoo to help us personalise a treatment plan to suit your clearing goals.

Unfortunately, unless you know the specific ink used in your tattoo, it can be something of a mystery. Most inks respond well to eyebrow laser removal treatment, like those produced by qualified manufacturers and used as prescribed. If your tattoo contains a resistant chemical - for example, a harsh plastic or undiluted acrylic - it may take a lot longer to respond to treatment.

In severe cases, some inks may not respond to laser eyebrow tattoo removal at all. Inks that don’t respond to laser microblading removal in London are often referred to as “stubborn” and, because of the specific composition of the ink, can take a very long time to remove.

At NAAMA we exclusively use the LightSense laser system, which is much more gentle on the skin than older technologies. As a result, many of our clients say our eyebrow laser removal is less painful and even hurts less than getting a tattoo.

We also acknowledge that pain really varies from person to person and is entirely subjective. What one person finds mildly unpleasant, another will find unbearably painful. So, at NAAMA we work with your tolerance to find the right balance for your sessions.
