How does laser tattoo removal work?
Laser tattoo removal breaks down the tattoo by applying intense light to the ink pigment. As ink absorbs this light energy, pigments break down, becoming smaller. These smaller pigments are then removed by the immune system.

The tattoo removal process
Below explains how tattoos remove. Each one is unique and so the length of time varies from person to person.
Large ink particles are trapped in the dermis.
After 1 month
The tattoo begins to blur. Thinner areas fade, more dense areas remain intact.
After 3 months
The tattoo loses its form. Coloured inks and lighter blacks disappear. Some colour changes may occur.
After 9 months
The ink removes completely, leaving skin smooth and clear.
Drummer Sammy found older technologies caused blistering and pain, forcing him to rest between treatments and effecting his day-to-day life. But with NAAMA he found there’s no downtime and he can return for treatment every two weeks.
“The combination of fast pulses, low energy and accurate treatment adds up to a tattoo removal system unlike anything else in the industry.”
“NAAMA is something totally different. The results I've observed from the clinical trials are really extraordinary - there was no damage to the skin.”
“Much less energy means much less pain. The precision of the laser means that only tattooed skin is treated, limiting exposure to surrounding skin - this is truly different.”
“It can take years to remove tattoos today, because we can't treat the skin very often. NAAMA's technology you can conduct treatments every week - and wow colours fade incredibly fast .”
“Over the last 10 years we haven't had much progress in the field of lasers. But NAAMA is the future. It's absolutely new. It's absolutely accurate. And there's no damage to the surrounding skin.”
The NAAMA difference
NAAMA's skin-safe technology allows us to treat all skin types in as little as every 1-3 weeks with no downtime between treatments.
